We might collect your username, your ID on that platform, and profile stuff like your bio, avatar, or professional photo. Communications. We collect what you send us when you're bidding on projects, using the Service, or reaching out to our support team.

When you're using the Service, we automatically pick up some technical info about how you're accessing it. Device Information. We track how you interact with the Service — which projects you look at, what skills you search for, how you apply to things. Cookies. Other Users. Some of your profile and project information gets shown to other users and hiring companies. That includes your username, bio, avatar, and portfolio. When the Law Requires It. If we're legally required to share information — because of a court order, a legal demand, or to protect someone's safety — we will. Business Changes. If Active Bridge gets merged with another company, acquired, or sells off assets, we might share your information as part of that deal, within what the law allows. Aggregate Data. We can share anonymized reports about contractor demographics and how the platform gets used.

5. Information from Children Under 14

We don't knowingly collect information from kids under 14 without their parents saying it's okay. If you think we've collected something like that, email us at info@activebridge.online and we'll delete it right away.

6. How Long Is Your Information Kept?

We hold onto your information as long as we need it for whatever we collected it for, plus a reasonable amount of time for customer service, business, and legal reasons. Unless the law says we need to keep it longer.

7. How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?

We follow standard security practices to keep your information safe from loss, unauthorized access, and tampering while it's in transit and while we're storing it. That said, nothing is completely foolproof. If there's a serious data breach, we'll let you know as the law requires.

Your information might end up with people in other countries — Canada, the United States, and elsewhere. We protect it the same way described in this policy and according to what the law demands.

This Privacy Policy is governed by Canadian law and the laws of the Province of Quebec specifically. Any disputes about privacy get settled in the courts of Montreal.
